Deliverance

Passage – Without having seen him, you love him. Without seeing him now, but trusting in him, you continue to be full of joy that is glorious beyond words. And you are receiving what your trust is aiming at, namely, your deliverance. 1 Peter 1:8-9

Restated in my own words – Deliverance comes from trusting in whom we have not already seen. Loving Him and walking in joy that comes from Him.

Application for my life – God delivers me from more than just hell and a life separated from Him. He brings deliverance in my life as I trust in Him and that trust grows.

I remember when He delivered me from cigarettes. It kinda blew me away. Then He delivered me from pills and pot. He delivered me from alcohol and it no longer controls my life. He delivered me from my anger.

I am believing for deliverance for the power that food has in my life. I trust that it will come as I seek Him and love Him and walk in the joy that only He can bring.

Your response back to God – Lord, thank You for delivering me from the life of sin. Thank You for filling me with Your joy and for allowing me to walk in love with You. Continue to work in my life that I can be free from every stronghold. I love You.
