Righteous in Him

Passage – For if, because of the offence of one man, death ruled through that one man; how much more will those receiving the overflowing grace, that is, the gift of being considered righteous, rule in life through the one man Yeshua the Messiah! Romans 5:17

Restated in my own words – Death came through Adam to all men. Better is the overflowing grace that makes us righteous. What Jesus did was more powerful.

Application to my life – Overflowing Grace, that is the gift of being considered righteous. Even in Christ, it is grace that lets God consider me righteous. He could choose to look past the blood, past the cross and still condemn me. But in His Grace, He considers me righteous. It is all from Christ, through Christ, and by Christ that I can be in relationship with God.

Your response back to God – Lord, thank You. I was in line for death with Adam but in Your Grace, You looked past him to Christ that I might be righteous in You.
