Passage – “‘Now therefore, our God, great, mighty, fearsome God, who keeps both covenant and grace: let not all this suffering seem little to you that has come on us, our kings, our leaders, our cohanim, our prophets, our ancestors, and on all your people, from the times of the kings of Ashur until this very day. Nehemiah 9:32
Restate in my own words – God is great, mighty, fearsome and keeps His promises with Grace. He notices our suffering and doesn’t make it seem small.
Application to my life – Sometimes when I’m going through tough things it feels like God has forgotten me. I minimize what I’m going through and feel like God does too. He however is faithful to His promises. He also provides the grace to get me through whatever I am facing. He knows the purpose of whatever I’m facing and how it relates to where other people are too.
Your Response back to God – Lord, thank You for never making me feel like I am insignificant to You. Thank You for using everything I go through to grow me into who You want me to be.
