Show His Grace

Passage – Through Sila, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written you briefly, encouraging you and giving my witness that this is God’s true grace. Stand firm in it! 1 Peter 5:12

Restated in my own words – Paul shared through Silas what he was witnessing God due to encourage them and to show God’s grace so they could stand firm.

Application in my own life – Maybe my faith grows because I am a witness to so many acts of God’s grace. Not only in my own life, but in the lives of those around me, I have the ability to see God at work. It encourages me when I’m down and helps me to stand when I feel weak. God truly has blessed me.

Your Response back to God – I pray that You will show me how to share what I have witnessed without breaking the trust of those I serve. Enable me to encourage others. I lift up my family and my church friends to You I pray that You would guard the seed that You have placed in each of them. I pray for healing for their children. Encourage them and make yourself real to them. I pray for speedy and complete recovery. I trust in Jesus name that You will do all these things and that they will encounter You and deepen their established walk with You.
