He Chose Me Anyway

Passage – (To God’s chosen people) chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father and set apart by the Spirit for obeying Yeshua the Messiah and for sprinkling with his blood: Grace and shalom be yours in full measure. 1 Peter 1:2

Restated in my own words – God chose us knowing the Holy Spirit set us apart for obeying. Is cleansed us with his blood . Grace are with us in full measure.

Application to my life – God chose us knowing the path I would take and the decisions I would make. The Holy Spirit set me apart for specific works which I need His grace to do.

Jesus paid price so that I could live in peace, obediently fulfilling what I have been called to do. When the enemy starts telling me lies, I have to remember what this scripture says. God already knew I would mess up. He chose me anyway. No lie of the enemy can change that. The Holy Spirit empowers me to obey, I just need to submit. It is not in my own power and strength but in God’s. Jesus paid the price; I cannot earn anything by good actions.

Your response back to God – Lord thank You for making a way for me. I want to serve you. Thank You for choosing me and for setting me apart. Help me to walk out every good thing You have called me to. Thank You for the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ that made a way from me.
