Spread Grace

Passage –  But the free gift is not like the offence. For if, because of one man’s offence, many died, then how much more has God’s grace, that is, the gracious gift of one man, Yeshua the Messiah, overflowed to many! Romans 5:15

Restated in my own words – God’s Grace is a free gift that abounds much more than the sin and death that came from Adam.

Application to my life – Christ’s life and death paved the way for God’s grace to spread to the world. I think it is more powerful because His followers have the ability to multiply His grace as they walk in obedience to Him. Our obedience added to His grace multiplies to all those around us.

Whereas sin spreads one person at a time because it is not supernatural like God. Sin was passed through the bloodline. God’s grace through adoption.

I have the ability to let God’s grace flow in and through me and spread life. Or I can add my sin to the sin of others and spread death. God won’t force me He just makes it available.

Your Response back to God – Lord, I don’t want to just go through the motions, putting cheap wine in new wine skins. I want to break religion in my life and let You work in me and through me to spread Your grace to all those around me. I want to spread Your grace to all those You bring me to encounter. I want to see Your will done on Earth as it is in Heaven. I want to see death’s sting taken and see life abundant in Christ spread in this region, nation and world. Lord thank You for Your grace and for Jesus and Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
