His Grace, His Glory

Passage –  Also through him and on the ground of our trust, we have gained access to this grace in which we stand; so let us boast about the hope of experiencing God’s glory. Romans 5:2

Restated in my own words – Through Jesus and the grounds of our trust in Him, we have gained access to God’s grace that gives us the ability to stand and boast about the hope of experiencing God’s glory.

Application to my life – I think about Grace empowering me to walk in the life God is called me too and His favor. I never realized it also gives me the hope of experiencing God’s glory. I guess I thought my actions bring Him glory, but really I have to have His grace to even do the thing I think will bring Him gory. Everything really does start and end with Him.

Your Response back to God – Lord, forgive me for thinking I was responsible for bringing You glory. It is only through Your grace can I obey Your will. Only Your will brings You Glory. Thank You for Your many facets of Your grace.
