His Presence

Passage – and said, “Adonai, God of Isra’el, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth. You keep covenant with your servants and show them grace, provided they live in your presence with all their heart. 2 Chronicles 6:14

Restated in my words – The Lord God of Israel, there is none like Him anywhere. He keeps His covenant with those who serve Him and He shows them grace as long as they live in His presence with their whole heart.

Application to my life – God is everywhere, all the time. His omnipresence is everywhere, but choosing to live in His manifest presence is a choice. I have to desire with my whole heart to live in His presence. He desires me but do I desire Him as much? I don’t always choose to walk in His presence, to let Him manifest in and through my life. I want to, but if I’m honest the desire isn’t with my whole heart all the time because I let flesh in the way. This is an area I need to allow God to work on in me.

Your Response back to God – Lord forgive me that my desire is not always for Your presence. Forgive me for wanting the benefits without the obedience. teach me a better way to be aware of Your desire for me to walk in Your manifest presence so I can choose to do so. I love you Lord. Thank You for Your faithfulness and grace! You are an awesome God.
