Child, Father, Grace

Passage – I will be a father for him, and he will be a son for me; I will not take my grace away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor. 1 Chronicles 17:13

Restated in my own words – God promised David that God would be a Father to his sons and David’s sons would be a son to God. Grace would not be taken from Solomon as it was from Saul.

Application to my life – This was a specific promise for David. However, God made me His child. He is my Father and He has given me His grace.

Your Response back to God – Lord, thank You that I am Your child. Thank You that You are my Father. Thank You for Your Grace on my life.
