Passage “As each one has received some spiritual gift, he should use it to serve others, like good managers of God’s many-sided grace —” 1 Peter 4:10
Restating scripture in my own words – it is up to us to be the manager of God’s grace given to us in the form of spiritual gifts by using them to serve others.
Application to life – Pastor Brian, preached Sunday on “to be determined” and how God places the seed. We have to tend to it and grow it, and not despise it when it is small.
I admit I’m bad at this. I want to share in the area of mastered, not the seed form of a gift God has placed within me.
I have to die to self until I let God develop them in me. Which means letting those gifts grow for others to see. Stepping out of where I’m comfortable and let god work through me even while I’m growing.
Your response back to God -God forgive me for the times I am not sharing my gift because I thought it was too small or not developed enough. Thank You for Your grace as they are developed in my life. Help me to step out and use them in service to others for Your kingdom. Open my eyes to the opportunities. In Jesus name amen.
