Defender, Provider, Rescuer

Scripture – The Lord replies, “I will arise and defend the oppressed, the poor, the needy. I will rescue them as they have longed for me to do.” Psalm 12:5

Thoughts about what this scripture means – The Lord promises to defend and rescue the oppressed, the poor, and the needy as they have longed for Him to do.

Application to my life – God loves people. Has been my defender when I was oppressed. He has been my provider when I was poor. Then my rescuer when I was in need. Be what he needs to be for people in their unique situation. We can stand in the gap in prayer and be obedient when God tells us to give.

Response back to God – Lord thank You for being my provider, defender and rescuer. Thank You for taking me out and using me to help others going through those same things.
