Reverence

Scripture – If you belong to the Lord, reverence him; for everyone who does this has everything he needs. Psalm 34:9

Thoughts about what this scripture means – God promises to meet the needs of those who belong to Him and reverence Him.

Application to my life –

Reverence is honor

and respect that

is felt or shown.

As a Christian,

I belong to God.

The responsibility

and the action

God asks of me

is to honor

and respect Him.

Putting Him

before myself

and others.

Seeking Him first.

I often fail

to do that

in the busyness

of life.

God wants me

to slow down

and focus

on Him daily.

To deter my will

to His

hen I do,

He will meet my needs.

Response back to God – Lord thank You that You are always looking out for me. Lord, I want You to be first at all times. I want Your will in my life. Help me to seek Your presence not Your promise. Help me to walk in Your presence moment by moment.
