Scripture – The Lord is my light and my salvation; he protects me from danger—whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1
Thoughts about what this Scripture means – God is my light and my salvation. He promises to protect me from danger. I do not need to fear.
Application to my life –
I find that in the midst
of things
that try to pull me under
or rise against me
keeping my focus
on God
makes a huge difference.
He is the light
when things seem dark.
He provides hope
when things seem bleak.
He saves me
from my own destruction
as well as
from the things around me
that would try to destroy me.
When I keep me focus
on Him,
I am not fearful.
I know
He will protect me.
Response back to God: Lord thank You for the hedge of protection You keep around me. Lord continued to light up my world with Your awesome love. Let Your light reflect from me, like the moon. Let me reflect Your light to the world around me.
