Safety

Scripture – The Lord is a strong fortress. The godly run to him and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Thoughts about what this scripture means – Jesus is a strong fortress. We can run to him for safety.

Application to my life – There is power in the name of Jesus. That is a promise I have stood on most of my life. Even before I knew about spiritual warfare, I knew I could call in the name of the Lord. When I was under attack I called on Jesus’s name. I knew there was safety there.

Response back to God – Lord, thank You for the safety that is found in You. I pray for safety in the name of Jesus for the people who have become victims of human trafficking. I pray that You would turn the hearts of those who have them in bondage. I pray that You would protect those who are working to get the victims out. In Jesus name Amen.
