Shield

Scripture – For you bless the godly man, O Lord; you protect him with your shield of love. Psalm 5:12

Thoughts about what this scripture means – God promises to bless the godly and protect him with a shield of love.

Application to my life – Godly, conforming to the laws and wishes of God.

God blesses us when we become more like Him. The neat thing is that God is the one who does the transforming also. He shapes and molds us as we surrender our lives to Him. He is Love. He shields us and protect us. Love is the shield over me. That is protection.

Response back to God – Lord thank You for making me like You. Thank You for Your powerful love that covers and protects me. amen
