No Weapon

Scripture – But in that coming day, no weapon turned against you shall succeed, and you will have justice against every courtroom lie. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. This is the blessing I have given you, says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Thoughts about what this scripture means – God promises that no weapon formed against me shall succeed and that I will have justice as a heritage and a blessing.

Application to my life – Heritage is something handed down through tradition or by way of birth because I’m God’s servant. This is a promise I have seen God keep. The lies told against me did not stand. The weapon is meant to destroy me didn’t prosper. I know that God is faithful to keep His word.

Response back to God – Lord thank you for being my protector, that no weapon brought against me has prospered. Thank you that Wise told against me were brought to justice. Bless those who tried to bring me down, draw them to you. Thank you for being my defender. In Jesus name, Amen
