I Will Do It

Scripture – Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it! John 14:14

Thoughts about what this Scripture means -Jesus promises that if we ask anything in His name, He will do it.

Application to my life – I fail to ask God a number of things. I have become so comfortable knowing God will provide what I need. I know He blesses me with what I want, but what things do I need to be asking Him for in faith anyway.

Response back to God- God, You know my heart is to serve You. You have been faithful to answer, I have seen that. Lord, my desire is to be debt free, to be able to give more to Your kingdom. I want to see a need and not hesitate to be able to reach out when You say “meet it.” I ask this in the name of Jesus.

I ask for my husband, my children, children-in-love, grandchildren, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, close and distant to have an encounter with You. I pray that each would turn to You and walk in the path that You designed for them and that each would fulfill the call of God on their lives in the name of Jesus.

I ask for Your help in losing weight, exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. I want to honor You with the temple You entrusted to me that I may be better equipped to serve You. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
