Nothing is Too Hard

Scripture – O Lord God! You have made the heavens and earth by your great power; nothing is too hard for you! Jeremiah 32:17

Thought about what this Scripture means – God promises nothing is too hard for Him

Application to my life – “I can’t” according to the Bible those words should not be part of my vocabulary. When the kids were younger and would say “I can’t” I would make them quote the Scripture “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I wanted them to know with God all things are possible. Nothing is too hard.

When my mom was facing her final days, I really thought it would be too hard for me. I feared my response would be similar to when my dad passed away. However, I have stayed connected to God and even on the hard days it has not been unbearable. It has been 4 1/2 months and God has been so real and by my side the entire time. I truly have a peace that surpasses my understanding. I can look at my life and the hard things that I have been through and know that He has always been right there showing me that nothing is impossible for Him.

Response back to God – Lord thank You that You know me and what is hard for me. But most of all thank You that nothing is too hard for You!
