His Heir

Scripture – And because we are his sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, so now we can rightly speak of God as our dear Father. Now we are no longer slaves but God’s own sons. And since we are his sons, everything he has belongs to us, for that is the way God planned. Galatians 4:6-7

Thoughts about what Scripture Means – The Holy Spirit lives inside of me. I am God’s daughter and because of that, I am an heir to God.

Application to my Life – We make plans for if we win the lottery, we talk about the things that we would do. When I was younger, I had big plans for the Publisher Clearing House sweepstakes money. I had the taxes figured out. I knew what I would do with it from helping my family to blessing others. The “What if” game I called it. Even as adults we do this ,even if we don’t play the lottery or gamble.

The odds are, I will probably never win the lottery or the Publisher Clearinghouse, but if God blesses me with that, It is already His. I would used it as He wills for His purposes. Regardless, I am already an heir to His Kingdom. I am His daughter. He is my Father,and all that I have is His and what He has is available to me as His child. If I have a need, He will provide. I can access what He has for His purpose.

Yes, sometimes He blesses me because He can and because He loves me. He gives me more than I expect or need because He loves me and because He can. He is just that awesome of a Father. I have been give His Spirit to live within me. God has plans and He will not only equip me for what He calls me to, He will fund it. I am His heir.

Response back to God – Lord, I hear so clearly that You are taking care of it. I don’t fully know the vision of what You have for me, but I know it is for our Kingdom. It is bigger than I imagine. I know it will call for big faith but I know You are bigger. I know it will require big funds but You are able to provide. Father, my trust is in You as my sole soul provider. Here I am, use me.
