I Belong

Scripture – You have been bought and paid for by Christ, so you belong to him—be free now from all these earthly prides and fears, 1 Corinthians 7:23

Thoughts about what Scripture means – I was bought with a price; I am not my own. I belong to God.

Application to my life – I can be free from all Earthly pride and fear. Can be taken captive in my life. I have a god given authority to be free from pride and fear that keep me from stepping in to my purpose in God’s Kingdom. He bought me at the expensive price of his son. Belong to God when I feel like I don’t fit in, I belong to God. When I feel like an outsider, I belong to God. When I feel left out, I belong to God. Regardless of my feelings I belong to God.

Response back to God – Lord thank You for paying the price for me with the life of Your Son. Let me not take that for granted. Thank You that I always have a place to belong. Thank You Lord, for fraying me from fear and pride. Amen
