He knows me

Scripture – My sheep recognize my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

Thoughts about what this Scripture means – God knows me and I know Him.

Application to my life – One lie I am often faced with is that no one knows me. Part of this is my fault. I have had walls around myself for so long that at times I don’t even know me. The truth is God knows me. Because He knows me and I know Him, I can listen to His voice. I can follow Him. Even when I don’t know what I want or need He does. I have known most of my life that He is the one I can depend on. He knows me, everything about me. God knows me and He still loves me.
