Teaching me

Scripture – But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right. For he teaches you all things, and he is the Truth, and no liar; and so, just as he has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him. 1 John 2:27

Thoughts about what this Scripture means – The Holy Spirit is in me, teaching me all things.

Application to my life – I love to study and people often comment “How do you remember that?” It is Holy Spirit, although I do not always give Him the credit. Sometimes it is me or Google or a book or podcast. But Praise God it is Holy Spirit that teaches me regardless of where I look.

Response back to God – Teacher, thank You for teaching me all things. Thank You for giving me Your mind that I may retain Your truth and know what is right.
