Stay at the Throne

Scripture – So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need. Hebrews 4:16

Thoughts about what Scripture Means – I have the right to come boldly before the throne of God to find mercy and Grace in time of need.

Application to my life – When I pray I know it can come boldly to God’s throne. I know God hears me and that he answers. My problem tends to be with staying there. I don’t know why I choose not to, I know the mercy and grace I need to receive are there. It is the option to stay in fellowship with him, but I instead run to him and then run back out to what I was doing. Some days my runs are more frequent, but I am still not staying. Week I set aside to stay in God’s presence to boldly come to his throne and to stay and receive his mercy and grace as I know that I am in need. I am in need for myself, my family, my church family, my work, my volunteer family and those we serve, my community and the leaders of this nation. I will stay in the waiting.
