Complete in the Brokenness

Scripture – so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power. Colossians 2:10

Thoughts of what Scripture means – I am complete in Christ.

Application to my life – Most days I feel broken and incomplete. It is so easy to look at my own life and see my shortcomings. It is easy to look at the opportunities I let pass by, the skills and abilities I fail to use. It is also easy for me to look at the things I’m lacking. But in Christ I am complete.

That is where I must keep my focus on him and my unity with him. Covers my shortcomings. Open all the doors of opportunity. During the time and place for the skills and abilities. Given me to be used. M, I’m lacking nothing. Resources are there. Is there. Knowledge and the peace is there. And the discipline for the follow through is there. Joy and the words and thoughts and the ability to walk through and out everything he gives me is there.

Response back to God – Lord I’m still trying to figure out this new season. To say yes to you and no to other things that distract me from you. Lord help me to keep my eyes off me and focus on you and my completion in you to allow you to complete me.
