I Find Joy in…

the Lord.  I realize that is a religious cliché and that its easy to say.  I don’t mean it as one.  There is something precious to me about being in the presence of the Lord. Everything that I have been dealing with fades away and joy comes rushing in.

When I am feeling overwhelmed emotionally with sadness or frustration, being able to get in His presence brings joy.

When I am feeling like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, I can step into His presence and joy floods my soul.

When I am feeling too  week to carry on, coming into His presence, I find the joy of the Lord is my strength.

When I feel like I don’t want to let anyone in to my world in a manner of self-protection, God can flood my soul and I find joy in Him.

When I am feeling on top of the world, the joy of the Lord keeps me grounded.
