Lessons in the Midst of Prayer

Lord I am really getting frustrated with my work situation, I feel cheated like I am paying for something that I am not getting. I am not getting what I feel like I need and should be receiving. I am not getting the guidance and support. I feel like my family has done nothing but suffer since I took this position. My time is taken from my family and out bills and credit are suffering. The other end of the contract is not being upheld.

I feel like I missed You when I took this step. I have seen Your mighty hand providing when there was no way. Lord I see the lessons I have learned during this time.

  1. I can depend on You.
  2. You are always right on time.
  3. There are injustices in this world that need to be addressed and that there is something that can be done about it.
  4. I am not a judge. It is not my place to judge the actions of others or their motives.
  5. When someone has been put in a place of authority over me, I need to respect that position and not run them them down.
  6. I shouldn’t run anyone down. I am not better than others, there but the grace of God go I.
  7. My faith has been tested.

Lord, Your word says that You know the plans You have for me, plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Plans to give me a hope and a future. Lord help me to step into those plans now instead of later. Help me to walk in the plans that You have for me and to learn the first time from my mistakes.

Lord help me to get back to my family, to the ones that You entrusted solely to my care. Give me a normal work schedule, where I can still help others. Lord I love You Amen.
