“And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us.
But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And the Egyptians were in dread of the people of Israel.
So God dealt well with the midwives. And the people multiplied and grew very strong.” Exodus 1:9, 12, 20
When God’s people join together the sheer number threaten those who don’t follow Christ, even when we are not speaking out or going against anything.
Even oppression cannot stop people from growing.
God shows favor to those who do what is right even in the face of being told by leaders to do wrong.
