Stress Less

Okay God, so it hasn’t even been a month and I have already broken all the things the kids asked of me 1) Don’t yell 2) Be more respectful 3) Don’t flip out over the little things 4) Don’t get all over them and then being loving. Lord, I need your help!

Our message tonight was about stress and how Jesus handled it so well. Right now I am stressed out financially. I have trust and faith in the overall picture but as I look at my checking account, my gas tank, and my schedule I need a supernatural intervention tomorrow to meet that need. It just stresses me out!!

So I think back over the message and the things Jesus did.

1) Identification – I know that I am a child of God and that Your Word promises to meet my needs and I know You can.

2) Dedication to my purpose – I am serving You. I believe that I am in Your will.I believe this job change was a step of faith and I am serving You in whatever I am doing.

3) Organization – I am working hard to get on and stay on track. I know You have called me to live an abundant life and not abundantly stressed because Your yoke is easy. I am working to simplify my life and put You first.

4) Concentrate – I am working to concentrate on the task of loving the abundant Christ-centered life. I am giving You the first and last part of my day and taking time in the middle too. I am also trying to show Tim You in action and through words of faith. I want to Him to see You at work because I truly believe this is the year of his salvation.

5) Delegation – I have been working to not taking on anything that will not benefit Your kingdom. I have dropped extra activities that take my time away from my family and church activities. I realize I need to mug more time into Sunday morning prep. I also need to delegate a lot less expenses to credit and go back to cash only.

6) Relaxation – I am working to do more relaxing things, rest, read and paint more.

7) Transformation – I know only You can do this one Lord. Help transform me into the person You made me to be.
