Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. Proverbs 31:25 She laughs, that speaks of the joy of the Lord. When I am walking in His strength regardless what I face, He will help me face the future with laughter and a smile. Dignity, regardless of what happens knowing I'm... Continue Reading →
Do they say these things about you?
For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the... Beautifully Broken
Song of Solomon 4:7, encourages acceptance of brokenness and finding beauty within it. Reflecting on Kintsugi art, the writer sees God infusing gold into their brokenness. Despite self-perceived flaws, God sees them as altogether beautiful. The prayer is to embrace this view and build relationships within the church.
The Cross
“For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 If I stop and really try to rationalize the cross, it makes no sense. It seems absurd - one man reconciling all men back to God. Jesus... Continue Reading →

But also how the foundation of Christianity full chapters of books would be read aloud in ministry to the... Continue Reading →
Prepared by the Word
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Scripture teaches, convicts, restores to right state with God, and instructs us to increase virtue and righteousness. These tasks... Continue Reading →
Uprooted
“See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;”. Hebrews 12:15 God‘s grace and powers me to do what I can’t do on my own. That includes forgiving those that have done me wrong. When... Continue Reading →
September Extended Prayer
The Grace Room - The blessings that the Lord gives are undeserved by me and yet because of His unconditional and unfailing love He bestows them on me anyway. I am thankful for the blessing of my family Tim, the kids, the grandbabies, my parents, siblings, aunties, cousins, my inlaws, my nieces and nephews. I'm... Continue Reading →
